FinRoot collects personal information that you provide directly, including:

  • Financial information — details you share through intake forms or during sessions, including income range, savings habits, debt, and financial goals

  • Payment information — processed securely through Stripe. FinRoot does not store your credit card or banking details directly

  • Session notes — notes taken during or after your session to support the quality of guidance provided

  • Communications — emails or messages exchanged between you and FinRoot

How your information is used

Your information is used solely to:

  • Prepare for and deliver your session

  • Follow up after your session, where relevant

  • Send booking confirmations, reminders, and intake forms

  • Improve the quality of services offered by FinRoot

Your information is never sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

Third-party tools

FinRoot uses the following third-party platforms to operate, each of which has its own privacy policy:

  • Wix — website hosting and landing page

  • Calendly — session scheduling and booking management

  • Stripe — secure payment processing

You are encouraged to review the privacy policies of each of these platforms directly. FinRoot is not responsible for the data practices of third-party tools.

How Your Information Is Protected

All session notes and client records are stored securely and accessed only by Kassie Kasito. Financial information shared during sessions is treated with the highest level of confidentiality and is never discussed outside of the client relationship without explicit written consent.

FinRoot takes reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and FinRoot cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

Your personal information is retained for as long as necessary to deliver services and meet any legal obligations. If you would like your information to be deleted from FinRoot's records, you may submit a written request to kassiekasito@gmail.com and it will be processed within 30 days.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information FinRoot holds about you

  • Request corrections to any inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of your personal information
